About Kim Ellefsen
This website represents the private ramblings of Kim Andreas Ellefsen, graphic designer, webdeveloper and partner of Eyego, a designstudio located in Oslo, Norway.
This will be where I document my work, so I can use this when approaching new customers and or employers. Which means that this is not a blog, it is more like an online resumé and portfolio.
The page will be updated on a whim, in random timeframes, and with just as bad english as this. I made this simple web so that I with time can expand and add sections as my world evolves, and new inspiring stuff comes along, so expect so see some changes from one time to another.
Experience
I have studied Graphic Design for two years at Norges Kreative Fagskole in Oslo, of which I graduated spring 2008. I started KANE Media April 1st 2006, and then started working as a freelance webdeveloper / designer. Since then my interests in design has just kept expanding, and I’m now working as a designer in a communication agency called Eyego located in Oslo, Norway.
Design
Design is where my true focus lies. With a mild obsession with typography and grid based design, I thrive on creating beautifully minimal layouts that blend striking color choices with palpable readability. All wrapped up in an intuitive layout.
I don’t just design things that look pretty, however. Everything I design is geared towards telling a story. Whether that story be who your company is and what it does, or the story the user is about to make by following the paths of your web application.
